What we collect
Where it's stored
On your device. We do not store your mood, journal, or assessment data on our servers.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it yourself, or delete the app.
Your rights
Special category data (GDPR Art. 9)
Mental health data is a special category under GDPR. We ask for explicit, separate consent before collecting it — the checkbox is never pre-marked.
Third parties
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Subprocessors
DeepL and Google, used only for translation. We'll update this list if it changes.
Right to refuse
You can decline consent and still use Kova's free, non-clinical tools.

License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use Kova for your own use.
No reverse engineering
You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack Kova.
Liability
Kova is provided "as is." We are not liable for damages arising from your use of the app.
Intellectual property
The Kova name, logo, and all content belong to Kova.
Regional restrictions
Kova is not available where prohibited by local government restrictions.
Cancellation
Cancel anytime in Settings → Subscriptions on your device.
Changes
We may update these Terms. We'll notify you of material changes in the app.
GDPR Compliance
We are a data controller
Not a processor, for the data we collect directly from you.
What we comply with
GDPR, CCPA, and applicable local data protection laws.
Special category consent
Mental health data (Art. 9) requires your explicit consent, collected directly in the app and never pre-selected.
Right to erasure
Delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Settings → Delete Account, inside the app.
